As President of Development, Steve Robinson oversees the
day-to-day operations of Silverman Development Company.
He leads the firm’s development team through the design and development process of all Silverman multi-family residential
and commercial real estate projects. From site identification,
to land acquisition and due diligence, Mr. Robinson manages all incoming development opportunities.

Mr. Robinson utilizes his extensive background in engineering and construction management to create award-winning projects. Under his guidance, the company has steadily increased the volume of development, with more than 30 residential projects and over 5,000 single- and multi-family
units developed during the past five years.

Mr. Robinson was raised in the construction business and
follows the lead of his father/mentor, who ran the Robinson family’s residential and commercial construction firm based in southeast Michigan. He holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University where his emphasis was in construction management. He belongs to
a number of professional and civic organizations including the American Society of Civil Engineers and Michigan Association
of Planning. In 2005, Mr. Robinson was elected to the Michigan Association of Planning's Board of Directors. He also serves as a member of the Detroit Urban Land Institute’s Steering Committee.
